Three new theses from the IDMIL in the last few weeks:
- Oren Ronen submitted the final version of his M.A. thesis, titled “Analyzing Vibrotactile Feedback Strategies Across Diverse Digital Musical Instruments.”
- Benjamin Lavastre defended his Ph.D. thesis (Composition) titled “Instrumental Interaction V pour 3 Karlax, ensemble et électronique” on November 14, 2025. Benjamin was co-supervised by Prof. Philippe Leroux
- Pierrick Uro defended his joint Ph.D. thesis (Co-tutelle between McGill University and the University of Lille, France) titled “Interaction, Space, and Copresence in Co-Located Mixed Reality” on November 18, 2025. Pierrick was co-supervised by Profs. Laurent Grisoni, Florent Berthaut and Thomas Pietrzak.
