On May 14, Benjamin Lavastre, PhD student and IDMIL researcher, met with Garth Paine, Professor of Digital Sound and Interactive Media at Arizona State University (ASU). During his visit, Benjamin gave a lecture entitled “Interactions Strategies in Mixed Compositions Acoustic Instruments and Digital Music Instruments: Case study with the Karlax” with the help of the IDMIL travel award.

The visit sparked engaging discussions and led to a promising instrument transfer collaboration.
