Biography:
Paloma Monteiro is a doctorate student in Music – Interpretive practices at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Brazil. Monteiro is currently doing an interuniversity exchange at McGill University under the supervision of Marcelo Wanderley at IDMIL. Combining artistic, research and teaching activities with the same passion and dedication, she has investigated aspects related to the practice and musical performance of pianists. Her latest communications were presented at PERFORMUS20 and 21, at the First Ibero-American Congress of Music Psychology and Musical Cognition and at GAPS – Global Arts and Psychology Seminar.
