Abstract:

The Music Technology program at McGill University prepares students for commercial and academic opportunities in music and new media technologies with degrees at the undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels. Areas of ongoing research include audio signal processing, music information retrieval, human-computer interface design and analysis, and computational acoustic modeling. Together with the rich music performance environment of McGill’s Faculty of Music, the Music Technology program provides students with research and practical training experience in the rapidly evolving music industry.
