Several IDMIL members have participated in this year’s special digital edition of the annual CCOB-COBS Student Symposium. The event is co-organized by three music research centers in Montreal: the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT), l’Observatoire interdisciplinaire de création et de recherche en musique (OICRM), and the International Laboratory for Brain, Music, and Sound Research (BRAMS).

The CIRMMT-OICRM-BRAMS Student Symposium (COBS) is an inter-university, interdisciplinary event open to all that gathers members from the three research centres around the theme “Transdisciplinarities: Redefining perspectives in music research.” Due to COVID-19, this year’s edition takes place virtually in the form of a website, hosting slide and poster presentations of current student research.
